The Orange Park Fire Department along with the Orange Park Police Department and Clay County are now connected to the Alert Clay County system. This system allows for high-speed notification of messages to your cell phone or land line.
Clay County through the Florida Division of Emergency Management is making available to its residents and business owners a new, high-speed emergency notification known as Alert Clay County. This system will replace the county’s current CodeRED system, providing better functionality at a lower cost, as Alert Clay County is part of a larger, statewide alert & notification system.
Alert Clay County provides county and municipal residents and business owners with the ability to receive emergency notifications and warnings regarding emergencies and/or threatening severe weather on their home phone, business phones, cell phones and email address. To ensure that the system will call you when your address or business is threatened by an emergency or by severe weather, simply register your address and contact information into the Alert Clay County portal, located on the county website at ALERT.claycountygov.com. Please call 904-284-7703 for further questions about this.
